Dr Ken Edgington (GMC No 0227966). Dr Edgington is a Consultant in Occupational Medicine having specialised in Aviation Medicine for many years in the Army, British Airways, the Civil Aviation Authority and now in independent practice. He was trained and served many years as an Army helicopter pilot gaining a CPL(H) along the way. He is still flying helicopters privately (B206 and EC120). Dr Chris King (GMC No 1643268). Dr King has had a lifelong interest in aviation. Afer being in general practice for nearly 30 years, he has gained his JAA and FAA authorisations and so has left the GP arena to pursue a full time career in aviation medicine. He has been working with us part-time since 2004. He aquired his PPL(A) 6 years ago. Dr Tony Goodwin (GMC No 0300535). Dr Goodwin was the mainstay of the Practice for nearly 20 years and was the BALPA Medical Advisor for most of that time. His consuming passion was and remains single seat open wheel motor racing with which he has had considerable success. Some say that his son, Chris (a professional racing driver) was the Stig! Tricia, Pauline and Jenny. The real mainstays of the Practice are our three secretaries who are very knowledgable about the intricacies of all the different countries pilot medical certification issues. They await your call. |
